Feargal Logan
Chairman
Overview
As Chairman of P.A. Duffy & Co Solicitors, Feargal plays a central leadership role in representing the firm and engaging directly with clients and commercial stakeholders. Feargal provides a link with businesses to discuss their objectives, understand their challenges and explore how the firm’s legal expertise can support growth, manage risk and deliver long‑term value.
Feargal graduated with an LLB (Hons) in Law from Queen’s University Belfast in 1990 and completed his professional training at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 1992. He commenced his legal career in private practice with leading Belfast firms during a period of significant commercial and social development, gaining early exposure to complex and demanding legal work.
In 1996, Feargal co‑founded Logan & Corry Solicitors alongside Eamonn Corry. Under their leadership, the firm developed into a highly regarded practice, delivering high‑quality legal services across Tyrone and throughout the wider jurisdiction for over three decades.
Feargal enhanced his professional skillset by qualifying as an Advanced Advocate and a Law Society of Northern Ireland Mediator. These qualifications have underpinned a broad and distinguished practice across litigation (plaintiff and defence), criminal law and dispute resolution, including specialist work in sporting disputes and sports law.
Beyond the legal profession, Feargal has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the sporting arena, both as a player and manager. This culminated in leading the Tyrone Senior Football Team to All‑Ireland success in 2021, having previously achieved All‑Ireland success at Under‑21 level in 2015. This experience informs his collaborative, strategic and results‑driven approach to leadership and decision‑making.
