Gary Daly

Gary Daly is a Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team at P.A. Duffy & Co Solicitors. He brings decades of specialist legal experience to the firm and is widely recognised for his expertise in healthcare law, medical negligence litigation, and advocacy.

Gary developed extensive experience handling complex and high-profile litigation, working on a diverse range of challenging cases that enhanced his reputation as a skilled and strategic legal practitioner.

In 2003, Gary built a highly specialised practice advising healthcare organisations and professionals across a broad spectrum of legal matters. His work encompassed the defence of medical negligence claims, judicial review proceedings, representation at inquests, public inquiries, employment law matters, public family law cases, and general litigation. This experience has given him a unique and comprehensive understanding of healthcare law from multiple perspectives.

Gary has also made a significant contribution to legal education and professional development. He has lectured at Ulster University, delivered presentations to medical students at Queen’s University Belfast, and spoken at conferences and training events within the healthcare sector on a range of medico-legal issues.

An accomplished entrepreneur and legal leader, Gary established and successfully developed his own legal practice, building a strong reputation for excellence and creating a province-wide client base. His experience as a law firm owner and senior practitioner further strengthens his ability to provide strategic advice and effective representation in complex and sensitive cases.
