Jane Carney

Jane studied law at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with honours in 1996. After a gap year, she secured an apprenticeship with O’Hare Solicitors and qualified as a solicitor from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen's University Belfast in 1999.

Jane worked for O'Hare Solicitors for ten years specialising in domestic conveyancing. She left Belfast in order to return to her native Fermanagh, working there in general practice for the next sixteen years. It was during this time that Jane discovered a love for family law. Jane joined Logan & Corry Solicitors in 2023.

Jane is a member of The Children’s Order Panel and has trained as a family mediator with Family Mediation NI.

Outside of law, Jane recently finished her training as a shamanic practitioner She loves anything that involves being outdoors - hiking, gardening and sea swimming.
